"At Do Good Farm, ringing the Dinner Bell signifies the gathering of impactful individuals from the community who are dedicated to helping end hunger & malnutrition around the world.

Enjoy an intimate, al fresco dining experience at the farm. The evening includes a gourmet, five-course meal prepared by an on-site chef using farm ingredients, wine pairings, and more! 

 

Proceeds benefit our farm projects in Winter Garden, Florida, and Burundi, Africa."

Overview

Process

Do Good Farm is a sustainable farming nonprofit located in Winter Garden, Florida. As a board member, I manage the organization's digital marketing efforts, including event and fundraiser promotion. The Dinner Bell is a fundraiser dinner that is held on select evenings throughout the year.  

I created all marketing materials for this event including flyers, emails, Eventbrite pages, and social media posts (samples are shown above). I used my knowledge of digital marketing best practices to create and implement a marketing plan leading up to each event. This included sending out biweekly email newsletters, posting about the event weekly on Facebook and Instagram, and sharing the event in relevant Facebook groups.

Outcome 

The word about the event spread throughout the community. These events regularly sell  out and the proceeds help fund various local and global farming projects. The event was also featured in the local newspaper
